About This Project
There’s no denying that Discovery Channel’s hit series Stormchasers delivers big on something we affectionately like to call ‘weather porn.’ Massive twisters doing mind-blowing damage. Now it was time to answer: who are these guys are why do they do this? Print gave us an opportunity to put viewers directly in the path of an impending tornado and to focus not just on the storm but on how the show’s characters help in saving lives. Digital put viewers inside the Stormchaser vehicle and served up pulse-pounding storm videos that helped define the chasers as well. Mobile put a tornado directly on users’ phones while a massive OOH display in NY put tornadoes onto the streets of the Big Apple.
